About this tour

Overview

The first stop on the south coast tour is Seljalandsfoss, located in Hella Iceland. This stunning waterfall is unique in that visitors can actually walk behind the cascading water, providing a truly immersive experience. The misty atmosphere created by the waterfall’s spray adds an ethereal quality to the surrounding landscape, making it the perfect place to snap some unforgettable photos.

Next up is Skogafoss, another breathtaking waterfall located in Skogar Iceland. The sheer size of this waterfall is awe-inspiring, with water cascading down a drop of over 60 meters. Visitors can climb a staircase to the top of the waterfall for an even more impressive view, or explore the nearby Skogar Museum to learn about Iceland’s history and culture.

Moving on from Skogafoss, the tour makes its way to the charming town of Vik in the South Region of Iceland. With its black sand beaches and dramatic cliffs, Vik is a photographer’s dream come true. One of the most popular attractions in Vik is Reynisfjara Beach, which features towering basalt columns and stunning sea stacks jutting out of the water. It’s a truly unique and otherworldly landscape that has to be seen to be believed.

The final three stops on the private south coast tour are all located in Vik Iceland: Solheimajokull Glacier, Dyrholaey, and Kvernufoss Waterfall. Solheimajokull Glacier is a breathtaking natural wonder that visitors can explore with a guided glacier hike. Dyrholaey is a dramatic promontory featuring towering cliffs that provide stunning panoramic views of the coast. Finally, Kvernufoss Waterfall is a hidden gem tucked away in a secluded canyon, providing a peaceful and serene ending to an action-packed day of exploring Iceland’s incredible natural wonders
