Hidden inside Þingvellir, Öxarárfoss is a scenic waterfall flowing into a dramatic rift valley. A short walk rewards you with a peaceful and photogenic view.

Next, we explore the Geysir area, where bubbling hot springs and erupting Strokkur geyser showcase Iceland’s geothermal power. Strokkur shoots boiling water up to 30 meters every few minutes!

Gullfoss, or the “Golden Falls,” thunders into a deep canyon in two powerful tiers. Its raw force and misty rainbows make it one of Iceland’s most stunning waterfalls.

We then head south to Seljalandsfoss, a unique waterfall you can walk behind. It’s graceful, refreshing, and unforgettable.

Skógafoss is a massive curtain of water plunging 60 meters down. You can enjoy it from below or hike to the top for panoramic views.
